The success of any contract depends largely on the manner in which it is implemented. Dickinson Autocon Systems Pty Ltd. has always recognised this fact and the need for professionalism in this activity which ensures the following:
• The Customer will be satisfied with all aspects of the project.
• The project will be delivered on schedule.
• The project will be to specification.
• The project will be to budget.
The essential ingredient to this success is the operation of a Project Planning and Monitoring System to ensure timely project completion. The Dickinson Autocon Systems company structure provides the facilities whereby each project achieves the required technical and commercial objectives, but still retains the flexibility to meet the needs of a multi discipline project.
For each contract, the Engineering Manager will appoint an appropriate experienced Project Manager who would be introduced to the project when the contract award became imminent. The Project Manager is ‘the single’ point of contact responsible for the project’s overall design, timely completion and profitability. A suitable team will be assigned to the Project Manager depending on the size, type and complexity of the project.The Project Manager retains his responsibilities until the contract is complete.
